Julianne Moore Premieres "The Kids Are Alright"
Showing up for the premiere of her latest film, Julianne Moore was spotted at the 54th BFI London Film Festival on Monday evening (October 25).
The ?Chloe? actress arrived at the Vue West End donning a rather interesting multi-colored dress paired with heels while walking the red carpet before heading inside for the debut of ?The Kids Are Alright.?
The Lisa Cholodenko directed movie finds "two children conceived by artificial insemination bring their birth father into their family life."
Meanwhile, in a recent interview with Allure magazine the 49-year-old beauty explained her thoughts on Botox and plastic surgery.
She told, "I hate to condemn people for doing it, but I don't believe it makes people look better. I think it just makes them look like they had something done to their face. When you look at somebody who's had their face altered in some way, it just looks weird."

¿Y a ti? ¿Qué te parece todo esto?

Shenae Grimes and Jessica Stroup's Joint Birthday Bash
Joining together for a weekend celebration, Shenae Grimes and Jessica Stroup held a joint birthday bash at Beacher's Madhouse at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel on Saturday night (October 23).
Presented by Samsung Galaxy S, the "90210" hotties were treated to a vaudeville-esque fete at which guests were strongly encouraged to dress the part in theatrical attire.
A GossipCenter source tells that both girls, in full costume, were in great spirits and spent the evening dancing and catching up with friends.
At one point, David Arquette (who co-owns Beacher's) led the crowd in singing "Happy Birthday" as Shenae and Jessica were presented with a giant birthday cake along with a few other small gifts.
Also in attendance for the event were Brittany Snow, Paris and Nicky Hilton, Brandon Davis, and fellow "90210" co-stars AnnaLynne McCord, Ryan Eggold, Trevor Donovan and Michael Steger.

Do Not Want: Tighty-Whitey Gloves
When I think of ways to guard my hands from winter's chill, I recall wool mittens, cozy fireplaces, or glamorous faux fur handwarmers. I don't usually think of sticking my hand in a dude's underwear. Lindsay is due in court.
The ?Mean Girls? babe did a video interview yesterday (May 23) in which she stated that she?s in compliance with the judge?s terms of probation and isn?t anticipating any push back from the court.
Nervously, LiLo stated, ?I don?t see what reason I would go to prison for. I?ve been more than in compliance with everything having to do with the court system. I don?t see why I?d have to go to prison and the only person whose suggested anything like that is my father.?
She continued, ?I wasn?t partying in Cannes. I was there for work. I was there promoting a film. I?ve been focusing on my work and getting my classes done, therefore, you know just to be able to start to film again so I can have this all put behind me. And that?s been my goal for a very long time now. I got into this because I enjoy acting not because I enjoy going to court and having to deal with certain things like this.?

Usher's VMA Performance To Be Worthy Of A 'King'
Awards-show executive producer teases Ush's 'best televised dance routine' in years.
By James Montgomery
Usher's VMA rehearsal on September 9

LOS ANGELES — The success of Usher's "OMG" is as much a testament to his unyielding popularity as an artist as it is his ability to, well, dance his ass off. That's particularly apparent in the Video Music Award-nominated video for the song, which features Ush and a bevy of beauties popping, locking, pivoting and posing in ways we never thought possible. Quite simply, the man can move.
So when it came time to plot out his VMA performance, well, Usher's team -- and the brain trust behind the show -- didn't have a whole lot of trouble coming up with a concept. The dancing was going to be front and center. The only question was: How could they take things to the next level.
"We all sat in a room and came up with a concept for the stage, and then we took that concept to Usher," VMA executive producer Dave Sirulnick told MTV News. "We said to him, 'We want to do the best televised dance routine that you've done in years. Let's show why you're the king.' "
And Ush's Sunday night performance is very much an affair worthy of royalty. Full of eye-popping moves, hip-dipping dancers and more special effects than a Hollywood blockbuster, it makes full use of not just the epic VMA stage (which practically engulfs the entirety of Nokia Theater), but the space behind it.
While we can't give away too many details, based on the rehearsals we saw Thursday, the off-the-wall choreography is only part of the attraction. There are lasers and LED lights, stunts, slides and even some props. Like we said, it's kind of like a Hollywood blockbuster. And kind of a coronation too. After all, Usher is the king.
The 27th annual MTV Video Music Awards will be broadcast live from the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles on Sunday. The party starts with MTV News' VMA Pre-Show at 8 p.m., followed by the main event at 9 p.m. ET/PT. Fans can go to VMA.MTV.com (or text VMA to 97979 if they are Verizon subscribers) to vote for Best New Artist from now through Sunday.

Conan's First Guests & The Future of 'Jersey Shore': TV Tidbits You Need to Know
Well, that's it, folks. Jersey Shore aired its Season 2 finale on Thursday. Now where will you go for your weekly fix of hot tub hookups? MTV's Real World: Las Vegas doesn't start until March. But chin up, Shore fans, you won't have to wait long for Season 3. It premieres Jan. 6.
What can viewers expect? "All the relationships start taking a turn, some for the good, some for the bad," executive producer SallyAnn Salsano told The Hollywood Reporter. "The kids legitimately grow up and come into their own in front of your eyes."
Though rumors are swirling about Pauly D and Snooki spinoffs, Salsano won't get specific. "We shoot with the kids all the time," she says. "We’re always constantly shooting with them in their lives. I don't know if there is anything official."
Last but not least, Conan O'Brien has announced the names of stars visiting his show during its premiere week (TBS, Nov. 8, 11 p.m. ET). Here's who you'll be treated to:

Celebs Love The School Kids: Keri Hilson, Shaq, Rick Ross, & More
It's been a busy week for some of the YBF celebs who have been in various spots around the country inspiring the kids in their own ways. See what Keri Hilson, Big Boi, Shaq and Rick Ross have been up to inside.....
Big Boi and Keri Hilson surprised 1000 high school students on Thursday in Chicago, Illinois. Joining MTV News correspondent Tim Kash, the trio spoke to the elated students as part of the Get Schooled National Challenge and Tour. The purpose of the tour is to engage students and encourage them to improve their high school graduation rates, with the goal of increasing college completion rates.
Big Boy told the kiddies:
"Before I started doing music, I was actually going to school to study child psychology, but, when I was in 11th grade, we went platinum," Big Boi revealed. "But I still finished and graduated with honors…you need that."
Talking about her own experience, Keri said,
"I juggled a lot in high school. I had to learn balance...I had to learn to prioritize my time. I think that is the key to making it through high school in life in general, is knowing what's important, attacking that and executing everything."
Keri added that she was also co-captain of her high school basketball team, in addition to participating in theater.
Great message for the kids. I hope that went over well.
And over in Boston at Harvard University, NBA Baller Shaquille O'neal made a strong and solid appearance as a statue on the campus. He sent a simple tweet to his followers about posing in Harvard Square, and when he arrived, he stuck a post as a "sitting man" for nearly an hour. Fans posed for pictures, rubbed his head, blew kisses and tried to make the Shaq laugh. He had promised the stunt two weeks ago on Boston sports radio station WBZ-FM.
Yesterday Shaq tweeted at 2:15 p.m., “On my way to Harvard Square. Statue time.”
And because Shaq is one of the most recognizable people in the world, the crowd soon swelled to hundreds. By 3 p.m., Shaq was done. He later said, “I can now tell everybody I went to Harvard.”
And last but not least, Chrisette Michele and Rick Ross rocked out for Morehouse and Spelman's homecoming week.
And it looks like Miss Michele sang her heart out. She performed "I'm A Star" from her next album Let Freedom Reign out Nov. 30.
The Teflon Don came through as well to drop some urban knowledge on the students.
I hope the entertainment provided translates into higher grades for all the students. Good to see celebs pushing for education.

Lady Gaga Challenged To $1 Million Sing-Off By L.A. Performer
'This contest gives people a chance to choose which they prefer: plastic or real,' singer Alisa Apps says.
By James Montgomery
Alisa Apps and Lady Gaga
Photo: Alisa Apps/ Reverb Nation
Alisa Apps is a Los Angeles-based singer who really, truly believes she is better than Lady Gaga ... and she's willing to go head-to-head with her to prove it.
On Tuesday, Apps challenged Gaga to a televised sing-off — which she proposed would take place at either New York's Madison Square Garden or London's O2 Arena — with the winner taking home a cash prize of $1 million. Each artist would perform a series of songs, with a panel of judges determining just who is the superior singer.
Challenging the reigning queen of pop music is a pretty ingenious way to garner headlines, but according to Apps, she's not stepping to Gaga to make a name for herself. She's doing it out of pity — and to prove a point.
"I feel sorry for Lady Gaga — she's just a plastic doll generated by the music money marketing machine," Apps said in an alliteration-heavy press release. "I stand for the voice of your heart. Be real with me. Come to my world and feel. I want to hear you and for you to hear me. This contest gives people a chance to choose which they prefer: plastic or real."
Oh snap. Apps — who, according to her MySpace page, is signed to a "major" label (but has, to the best of our knowledge, yet to release a major-label album) — does command a rather robust YouTube fanbase, with a video of her performing an original song called "How Do I Make Right?" racking up more than 1 million views. It also bears mention that, back in 2008, on her official YouTube channel, she took aim at diva Mariah Carey with a stunt she called "The Pop Star Challenge".
Apps did not respond to MTV News' request for comment on the Gaga challenge by press time; nor did a rep for Gaga, though, really, that didn't surprise us all that much.

Interview with Bryce Dallas Howard from Hereafter
When Bryce Dallas Howard was born in 1981, her father, Ron Howard, was just coming off the heels of playing one of television's most famous characters, Richie Cunningham on Happy Days. And yet you've never seen Howard's name in the tabloids. Though the 29-year-old star of the new Matt Damon movie, Hereafter, says that children of celebrities "are often quite misguided," she tells iVillage exclusively that when raising her son, Theo, 3 (with actor husband Seth Gabel), she follows the valuable lessons her parents taught her.
"I had a great example that was set by my parents and also by my grandparents as well," Howard explains. "Just how to raise kids that are around the business... how to still instill values in them that are important to create normalcy and to help a person grow into what they're supposed to be."
Knowing that show business "sometimes fights against those kinds of values," Howard hopes to follow in her parents' footsteps, though she may make a few different moves (literally!). "When I was 5, my parents moved to Connecticut. I have so many friends that live in Los Angeles, it would be so sad to move away from them," she explains. "So I don't know if I'll be able to do that exact thing, but I really really take their lead in terms of how they raised us."
Watch our exclusive video above to find out what it was like for Howard to watch Hereafter with her mom and how she dealt with the movie's dark themes.

Justin Bieber 3-D Movie Poster: The Pieces So Far!
With a little help from Usher, Ryan Seacrest and Ellen DeGeneres, MTV News plays along to uncover film's title.

Justin Bieber movie poster puzzle pieces

On Wednesday morning, Jon Chu, the director of Justin Bieber's 3-D movie, took to his Twitter to send all the Beliebers on a hunt for the pieces of a puzzle that make up the film's poster, which will then also reveal the title.
Nearly a day and a half later, all the pieces of the puzzle have yet to be revealed, but MTV News has been endeavoring to play along. We can't wait until the official reveal on Friday.
The pieces so far have been unveiled by a number of celebrities, including Ellen DeGeneres, Usher, Ryan Seacrest and Perez Hilton. Members of Bieber's inner circle, like manager Scooter Braun, and various other Twitter feeds run by British celebrity magazine Heat and the Bieber Army have also revealed some clues. Chu even got into the fun, revealing the first piece of the puzzle. If you want to play along, follow the #JBValentinesDay hashtag.
What did DeGeneres have to say about her contribution to the dizzying treasure hunt? "I'd recognize those lips anywhere," she wrote. "@JustinBieber - heres another piece of the puzzle, Beliebers."
As for Usher, he had one key piece of the Bieber look to share with fans. "So apparently some guy named @UsherRaymondIV has tweeted Piece #8," Chu shared about Usher's contribution. "Could that be the hair?! Only a few more to go!"
Heat added: "Justin Bieber fans, here's our very special piece of the Justin Bieber Poster Puzzle... enjoy! @JustinBieber #JBVa." The mag later added, "Not a fan of Justin Bieber, then move along."
America's very own reformed gossip gangsta, Perez Hilton, revealed his own piece of the puzzle. "Found Piece #5!!! @perezhilton had it!!" Chu said. "Of course. Oh and it IS a good one. check it out."
And then the Bieber Army got in on the action, tweeting its own piece to the puzzle: "Here is puzzle piece #4! Look out for more to complete the @JustinBieber 3D movie poster!"
Braun initially played coy about his piece. "So i see @jonmchu and @ryanseacrest have pieces of the new @justinbieber movie poster revealing the title. maybe I have one. Interesting," he wrote before spilling the beans. "Ok ok here is the next piece. What's the title of the @justinbieber Movie @jonmchu?? AW C'MON!!"
Chu noted that things were getting interesting when Ryan Seacrest got into the action with his piece. He tweeted: "Now here's piece #2 of the @JustinBieber movie poster."
However, it all started with Chu. "GAME ON!" he wrote Wednesday. "@justinbieber MOVIE POSTER/TITLE REVEAL BEGINS Collect ALL the pieces 2 UNCOVER."
Share your title guesses in the comments!

Kanye West Rants About Undeserving Award Winners
Kanye West is at it again. But sadly it is not singing. While speaking to Access Hollywood about his new short film, Runaway, the outspoken rapper once again let his mouth run away when it came to the topic of next year’s Grammy nominations. Check out his response in the interview clip below.
West still wants to discuss last year, where he was criticized for interrupting Taylor Swift’s acceptance speech for Best Female Video. He asked, "Why are the last four Albums of the Year: Taylor Swift, Dixie Chicks, Ray Charles and Herbie Hancock? Like, you know, with all due respect… that’s inaccurate. How about albums that sold 10 million?"
West might have his own album, My Beautiful Twisted Reality, in mind which is set to be released November 22. But really, this isn’t about him. "I don’t really care about me. It’s about everybody. It’s about artists. It’s about fair ground. If Drake is having an awesome year and his year is better than mine, I’m not gonna say I should win. I’m gonna say Drake should win."
If nothing else the rapper is sure to have a busy year. On top of his first new album in three years, the 35-minute short he directed starring Victoria’s Secret model Selita Ebanks and named after one of his new songs will air on MTV tomorrow night at 8pm EST. Ironically the same network where he placed partial blame. "I pinpoint the Grammys and the VMAs because they have to take responsibility, because they mean something to us," he said. "Little kids, 6-years [old], that are singing in front of the mirror. They’re also thinking about their Grammy speech."
But the question is, is West thinking about interrupting their acceptance speech too?
Do you take Kanye's feelings about award winners seriously or is this just another rant? Chime in below!

Playgirl Wants The Men Of "Glee"
It's time to play another round of "How much would Playgirl pay famous dudes to take their clothes off?" Last time we talked, Vinny of "Jersey Shore" got an offer for $30K, which doesn't stack up to the $100K that Levi Johnston supposedly netted from the mag. Now, Playgirl is after the men of "Glee." But not just any "Glee" stud—they want Chord Overstreet (Sam) or Mark Salling (Puck). They'd pass on Cory Monteith (Finn) or Matthew Morrison (Mr. Schuester). A rep for the mag said they would offer Chord and Mark $100K each for a shoot, and assured them it wouldn't even have to be X-rated.
